As happens every year I have been hit by SAD. Some years it isn't so bad but last year and and this have been doozies. I am trying to fight back with bright lights and Vitamin D. Everything looks bleak and for some reason writing has been impossible. So I've engaged in the usual rear guard tactics- lots of reading, TV, sugar and red wine. Right before Thanksgiving however I had tried giving up sugar and I think that might have some promise. Then the holidays with all the wonderful food which I made no attempt to resist.
