I just joined the Xerces Society for  Invertebrate Conversation.
They are concerned about the decline of insects and what that means for all of us. I found them while looking up bumblebees.

 The Xerces Society site has several publications that can be downloaded. One nifty little item is a pocket guide to identifying bumblebees. First you download the page and then you download instructions on how to fold it into a little book. This is appealing on so many levels. It has bumblee information, it is a craft project, and it is little, just 2.5"x4".

Yes, I know that is a honey bee, not a bumblebee. It is a Las Vegas Strip honey bee browsing the rosemary outside the Sahara. Maybe taking a break from the blackjack table.
